Science x Spirituality: Energy Healing Reduces Cancer Cells
A medical study published last month is making waves because it was able to measure the verifiable impact that energy healing can have on reducing cancer cells.
The study focused on pancreatic cancer because it’s one of the deadliest and most difficult to treat. It was a preclinical study, meaning it didn't have human subjects, but instead used human and mouse cancer cells, and they also implanted mice with the tumor.
The Experiment:
Included three groups, all controlled in incubators:
Experiment Group: Received energy healing treatment from practitioners (5-120 minutes)
Control Group: Received no treatment.
Sham-Tested Group: Received false treatment (people mimicked movements but lacked intention).
Key Findings:
Compared to controls, treated cells and mice showed:
On Cancer Cells: Reduced growth, slower growth, less invasiveness, and significant shifts in gene expression related to inflammation and stress response.
On Mice: Smaller tumor volumes, reduced metastasis, and improved survival outcomes.
Depending on the cell, those who received treatment for 15-30 minutes had the strongest effect.
The rigorous control mechanisms used in this study make the results difficult to dismiss. While the study didn’t show that energy healing can be a replacement for oncological treatment, it indicates it’s an extremely beneficial complementary approach. Medicine needs to expand its understanding of human physiology in response to consciousness, intention, and nervous system regulation because healing is relational and electromagnetic.
I think it’s time to shift the question from“Is energy healing real?” to “what can it do?”
What do you think?
